TOPIC : 7 Tips for Travelling Soul

Hello World,

As everyone knows I love to travel..Its a true passion of mines and a reason I am broke.. Its is what it is!...
Although, I must mention that I am much less broke than I was a year ago..So say congratulations to me!..Thats what happens when you take an active role in your life and know what the fuck you want..Don't be the type of person that makes other people  handle shit in yourlife because at the end of the day its your life, don't you forget it..If you want it to be a success, you need to keep your hand on the damn wheel..even if you are getting assistance..

Sorry about my tangent, you know its me...

If you are passionate about travel like I am or have a fire to start travelling because you're intrigued about experiencing other parts of the world I am gonna give you 7 tips that will help.

1. There are never boring places only boring people..So be very selective about your attitude on a trip and the people you choose to bring with you. You might have to leave one of your best friends at home..oh well...trips costs to much money for you to be miserable on them...

2. Don't be as concerned about where you are going but where is the best deal flight wise. Its the places that you never expected to go that can be the greatest adventures so be open to really seeing the world.. The fact is, when you go on a trip more than likely you are going to end up spending more money than you thought you would, so atleast make sure the flight is as cheap as possible to offer you more fexibility on the ground.

3. Do your research before you leave your home country. People always like to boast about being adventurous but living the broke life just doesn't allow for you to fuck around with your money. So figure out how much the taxi should cost from the airport to the hotel because most likely the cab driver will try to hustle you with a rediculous price. Find out about public transit and don't be scared to use it, because in most cities especially the ones you would like to go to as tourists will have decent public transit because its attractive to tourist.

4. Don't be scared to wonder off into the unknown beaton paths because thats where you might see the most interesting things... Like how people actually live and what they eat there and do..The locals might end up knowing a gem in the country that you never heard off. Eat like a local....it will always be much cheaper and probably better quality...Example you go to Spanish speaking country restaurant but there are only English speakers there - turn around and leave... Additionally, use your common sense and wit..when you're dealing with people you don't know its no time to act dumb!

5. This one is probably going to make me sound boogie and maybe a lil different than what you would expect from my cheap ass.. But here it is..Its important to feel comfortable where you lay your head at night even if it costs a few extra dollars. 3 star is not the same in every country, if you have travelled enough you know that already... Make a realistic budget about how much you are willing to spend and what you need to be comfortable where you lay your head (hot showers and clean water are important). Booking.com and Airbnb.com are great because you get reviews (read em!) Location and comfortability are your two most important things to consider when travelling. Its the worst thing to be walking all day and can't be able to sleep at night because you're scared of cockroaches..

6. Bring your walking shoes.. A lot of great cities, have great things that you can walk around and see. Walking saves you money and gets you to see the in between places that can be so interesting. Without knowing you can find your self at other great site seeing places you never thought you would see. If you can't afford all the museums think of the country as a museum where everything is new to you and important to see..

7. Save and work extra hours just for travel...Its hard to shake off the travel bug so keep it as a healthy part of your life.!!

Happy New Year World,

I thought it would be fit for every broke girl and guy to know that I am still with them even though I don't blog as much as I used to. Is it because I am finally not broke? No! But my life has become a bit different.

As cliche as resolutions for the new year are to make. Especially since everyone seems to have an agenda about saying how stupid New Years resolutions are, I still beleive in its importance. Ofcourse if you just say something is a resolution and don't follow through with anything it can seem pointless, but I beleive in putting our goals into the universe. Additionally, we all need time frames when making a goal, it helps our goals become more realistic and adds some presure to our mind about it. We feel bad about not accomplishing what we set out to do and that might cause even more determination the following year. All in all don't try to be cool by not making any goals for yourself in 2014, a person without goals can find themselves walking in circles becoming even more depressed everytime because they don't know what they are looking for in life. The feeling of accomplishing ones goals is priceless. It makes you happy, motivated and proud - PRICELESS.

Because I care about your broke life - Instead of a bogus horiscope which claims to know you and yourlife because of the month you were born I am gonna give you some great goals for the year moving forward based on your situation.

Single People - Don't be jealous of people with significant others because you don't know what the hell they need to deal with and how long they've been dealing with it. Focus on yourself with priority and just be OPEN  to meeting people (the more options you have, the better your choice). Don't be jaided and tainted with a sour attitude. Nobody is interested in being in a realationsip with that kind of attitude, even if they are initially, it won't last long. Give people an honest chance before you judge them or start acting like you're better than them. Don't forget that you need to show that you have pride in yourself also and this is not in conflict with what I said before but should work in parallel to what I said before. Just because you are single doesn't mean that you should allow a man who doesn't show you respect a space in your life just because you want a hug sometimes. Find friends if thats all you need.. Have friends and when you finally have a significant other which you will, keep your friends.Its the worst thing to be single again knowing you've sabotaged all your friendships. Have fun, enjoy your flexibily with place and life and don't forget to keep smiling because you don't know whose watching. And Lastly, STOP TAKING ASS SHOTS! Ewww

Coupled People - Be open and honest with each other! When the minipulation starts just know you are about the see the death of your relationship, and if thats how it started sort that shit out now or say fuck it! Don't play your relationship like a game, just focus on showing that you respect and love eachother with true honesty and understanding. Once you stop playing the game, you start to enjoy the journey (its a journey!). Honesty in your relationship starts with yourself, so take the time to do the reflections and really think about your relationship realistically and honestly. Just because your relationship is starting to stink now doesn't mean it will stink forever depending on how determined you and your partner are to making your relationship a success so don't give up easy but set a realistic thresehold for how much you will take until you quit. Begin with NOT telling your friends every bad or good thing about your partner (because when you decide to backstep, they will be looking at your partner judgmental and you like a damn fool). If after much reflection and truth between you and your partner are already expressed and done and no solution has come to light maybe then you can find two people closest to you to confide in and thats it! The fact is while noone may understand your relationship like you do, being honest with yourself can be the hardest thing but the most efficient thing. Noone can do as much for your relationship as much as you can. Sometimes the fact that things fucked up is mostly your fault. Sometimes it is mostly your partners fault. But the fact is a death of relationship takes two to tango and sometimes the tango must end. Its hard to know when to throw in the towel and when to fight harder...but it starts with honesty always! To yourself and to your partner ALWAYS! And don't forget to enjoy the happy moments in your relationship, the more you can enjoy it the less it will stress you. Monewise, don't undervalue money to your relationship!

Students - Get off the lazy train. School costs too much money for you to be lazy when you're there. This is the time to get involved, become socially aware and work on your employability skills. Work hard and play hard! If you can't seem to find the balance to do both - work hard because essentially you're in school not party (Working meaning employability and school work). Work (Employment wise) but work realistic hours so that you are not always tired and turning in shitty school work. Once your employment starts to get in the way, some adjustments need to be made. Maybe it less employment hours or less classes..whatever it is, know when a schedule adjustment needs to be made - because failing is not an option! (cost wayy too much money) It makes no sense that you are working so hard to pay for an education you are not really getting. Your school work is first priority if you are a full-time student but I truly beleive in the skills you don't get in the classroom too so volunteer in a place relavant to your education or better yet get paid employment in a place relevant to your education. Find a way to do both because it is a good life skill knowing how to balance things. If you are soo lucky and have a rich mom and dad who will pay for everything you should still work a part-time job or volunteer. If you are on osap or paying everything for yourself you have to work a part-time or full-time job. And lastly, do not build any consumer debt, if you are doing this already... STOP!

Recent Graduates-   Pay that student loan off, ASAP! Jobs are not coming easy right now so you need to have your hustle on. Don't be scared to work two jobs even if it makes you tired. Don't be turned off by volunteering because it can be a step in the right direction especially if you are just holding down a part-time job in something you really don't want to do. This is the time to test out your own ideas without fear, be bold about your goals and create your own opportunities. Make the drastic changes, maybe you have to move, MOVE! Maybe you have to go and do an additional certificate DO IT! Your hustle need to be on and popping!..This is not the time for you to finally be able to relax even if you have a good job, I feel like life is not really designed for you to relax until you're dead. Too Morbid? Maybe but true... Build your portfolio, make calls, email people and get in their faces because clearly they are not coming to find you and this is the time for you be fearless. Why? Because you are young and your biggest asset right now is TIME! Time to build your wealth and do big things with your life. So show that shit off and be fearless, not with incurring more debt though.. But the best mistakes are made when you're young because you have enough time on your side to correct them. Keep smiling you don't know whose looking!

Family - Always show respect and love to your family whether they be older, younger or the same age as you. Mistakes happen. But there is no better place to show forgiveness more than your own family. And funny enough its not about the other person as much as it is for your own sanity. Because nothing can eat you up more than family troubles. Why? Because generally we care too much even if we try not to. Work on making all your relationships sucessfull this year. Successfull doesn't mean giving them everything they ask for, but it does mean always trying to help them when they ask. Example a family member keeps on asking you for money and you don't have enough money to give them or you think the amount is wayy to much or you think this person is annoying -they always ask for money. What you do instead of giving them money is go through a budget with them and help them find realitic ways to pay of their debts by themselves. Be supportive and understanding always, they are your family, even if you think they are full of shit right now. Even if they don't appreciate what you have given them, as long as you can sleep at night knowing you have honestly helped them the best way you knew how, you've been a good family member. Maybe temporarily that person will not understand, but the authenticity of your heart will be understood by them even if they don't want to admit it. Always show that you value your family, show that you have pride in being a member of this family even if its a family you are marrying into or have married into. Family is important, not just for them but for you ALOT.

Friends - Be open to getting new friends, releiving yourself of old friends and doing your best to maintain your great friendships. Friends are important, don't undervalue their importance to your life. You need someone to laugh with and talk shit with and relate to things with. Sometimes they take as much work to get as a good boyfriend but its worth it! You know when you have a good friend or not so don't be scared to be honest with yourself and ur sopposed friends. Know when you are not being a good friend also. I have been guilty of this before. Be open to say you are wrong and you need to change (that goes for every situation in life). Value your friends but don't be a fool for them. They are usually a reflection of your other relationships and yourself so always make sure they are positive.
